Prof. Dr. Onur Burak Dursun

Professor Onur Burak Dursun is a distinguished child and adolescent psychiatrist dedicated to enhancing the quality of services for individuals with autism, fragile X syndrome, rare diseases, and other mental health needs, including ADHD and special learning disorders. He has coordinated pioneering national projects, contributed significantly to policy-making, and established services that have reached millions of individuals to date. Notably, he is the editor of Turkey's first National Rare Disease Action Plan, the Autism and SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) Guidelines for the Turkish Ministry of Health.

With around 100 scientific papers to his name, Dr. Dursun has also trained and mentored numerous academicians and professionals worldwide, focusing on evidence-based practices. He is the founder of Mental Healthworks, a publishing company dedicated to training professionals in evidence-based approaches and providing consultation to governments and institutions on neurodevelopmental disorders.
